ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೆ - 2023ರ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಮನದಾಳದಿಂದ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ, 2024ನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಅಮೋಘಗೊಳಿಸೋಣವೆಂದು ಪಣತೊಡುತ್ತಾ, ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಮೊದಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ನೇಹಪೂರ್ವಕ ಆಹ್ವಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಂಜೆಯ ಸಿಹಿ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಚ್ಚ ಹಸಿರಾಗಿಯೇ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆ. ಈ ಬಾರಿಯೂ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತಸ-ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯಗಳ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹ-ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ RKSನ ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸೋಣ. ತಾವೂ ಬನ್ನಿ, ತಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆತನ್ನಿ. ಹಾಡುತ್ತ-ಕುಣಿಯುತ್ತ-ನಲಿಯುತ್ತ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಅದ್ಧೂರಿಯಾಗಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿಸಿ.

Thank you for making 2023 a memorable year for all Kannadigas in Richmond. Let us make 2024 yet another remarkable year with fun-filled programs and meaningful activities, starting with our highly popular Sangeeta-Sanje on Saturday, 24th of February 2024 at 4:30 pm.
Venue: Old Temple Hall, Hindu Center of Virginia, 6051 Springfield Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
With the roaring success of the Sangeeta-Sanje from 2023 still fresh in our minds and hearts, let us come together once again to rejoice with lively music, delicious food, and precious bonding with fellow Kannadigas. Please send in your entries by February 4th, 2024.

Middle/High School and College students are encouraged to volunteer.
Please read below for detailed information regarding the entries:
1. All participants should be members of Richmond Kannada Sangha in good standing. Please note that you can sign up/renew your RKS membership on the day of this event at the front desk.
2. We would like this Sangeeta Sanje to be an exclusive Kannada musical platform to all our dearest RKS members, with a special objective of encouraging our younger generation to embrace our rich culture through Kannada music. Therefore, we request that all the entries must be in KANNADA language only.
3. Performances showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka or Kannada language will be highly encouraged, covering the diverse genres of Kannada musical world such as Bhavageete, Bhaktigeete, Janapada geete, Kannada Cinema songs and so on.
4. All the entries must be submitted on or before February 4th, 2024.
5. A maximum of two entries per family (any combination of solos and duets, but limited to two songs, one per person) will be considered.
6. We strongly recommend choosing karaoke with high audio quality before deciding on the song. We will review the karaoke files for quality. The karaoke files should be sent before February 9th, 2024 to rksculturaldirectors@gmail.com
7. Duplicate song entries will be resolved with a first-come-first-serve approach.
8. Final entries for the "Sangeeta Sanje" event will be shortlisted after a rehearsal session (Time & Location of the rehearsal - TBD soon).
9. Maximum duration for all the songs is 5 mins.
10. Please send in your entries before February 4th, 2024. Entries received after this date will not be considered.
